Nanrui Cold Shrink Terminals are used for insulating and terminating cables. Southray Cold Shrink technology exists in the form of a plastic coil inside it. After placing the SouthRay cold shrink tubing over the joint or cable end, the inner spiral is pulled out. The insulating tube then shrinks and seals over the cable, applying a constant radial pressure over the life of the splice or termination.
Nanrui Cold shrink tubing is easy and reliable to install without the use of tools (e.g. gas torch or open flame). Cold shrink tubing is made of extruded EPDM (ethylene-propylene diene-monomer) or silicone rubber and is stretched over a spiral core.The advantage of cold shrink tubing is that it provides a high-performance, long-term environmental seal even under extreme conditions. Tool-free installation reduces downtime,installation time and training requirements.
